Bowls is a game for all ages and abilities.

It can be as competitive or social as you want it to be.

The club is open between 9am – 5pm most days. Come down to our club, meet our members and check out the available facilities.

Our club night is on Friday – come down and meet everyone.

How to get started:

• We can arrange a date to meet at our club to show you around.

• We have bowls that you can borrow to give it a go.
• Wear flat soled shoes.
• To set you up with the basic skills and objectives of the game, we offer free coaching with our club coaches.
• You will find out how little it costs to belong to a bowling club.

Bowls Prewa is a friendly Club with a good mix of men and women from diverse range of backgrounds. Many of our members are retired so are able to play bowls during the week but for those still in the workpace there are many week-end and after hour opportunities. We also encourange youth players.

How do I join?

   Simply complete a membership application available from the Bar.

What if I have never played before?

   For NEW Bowlers free coaching is available and the Club can provide the free use of bowls for an         initial period. No special clothing or equipement is needed except you must wear flat rubber sole         shoes.

How much does if cost?

  First year bowlers:      $90.00 for the first year.

  Full Membership:        $250.00 per year. This entitles you to also play in the interclub                                                          Tournaments and play (as a visitor) at other affiliated Clubs.

  Limited Membership: $180.00 per year. This entitles you to all Club Facilities and Club                                                       Tournaments but does NOT allow you to play in interclub Tournaments or                                         play at other clubs. 

  Upgrade:                    $70.00. From Limited Membership to FULL Membership.

What competitions can I play in?

 To enter, write your name on the entry sheets in the south-east corner of the clubrooms. 

 The following regular competitions are played throughout the year. (Entrance fee are per person).
